What do the mmHg numbers mean?

mmHg (millimeters of mercury) measures how much pressure the sock applies to your leg. Higher number = stronger compression. Choose based on your need, not personal preference — the wrong level can be ineffective or uncomfortable.

MILD 8-15 mmHg Travel, tired legs, everyday wear
MODERATE 15-20 mmHg Mild swelling, varicose veins, athletes
FIRM 20-30 mmHg DVT prevention, post-surgery, edema
EXTRA FIRM 30-40 mmHg Prescribed only — doctor supervision required
What is graduated compression and why does it matter?

Graduated compression means the pressure is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases up the leg. This is the clinically recommended design — it mimics the natural pumping action of your veins and actively pushes blood upward toward the heart.

Non-graduated (uniform) socks provide less therapeutic benefit. When shopping, look for "graduated compression" on the label to make sure you're getting effective support.

How to wear
Which length should I choose?
KNEE-HIGH
  • Most popular choice
  • Covers the calf muscle
  • Great for daily support & travel
THIGH-HIGH
  • Extended upper leg coverage
  • For circulation above the knee
  • Often prescribed post-surgery
PANTYHOSE / LEGGINGS
  • Full leg + waist support
  • Ideal for pregnancy
  • All-day wear coverage
FOOTLESS
  • Better breathability
  • Allows toe inspection
  • Wear with open-toe shoes
How do I measure myself correctly?

Measure in the morning, before swelling sets in — this ensures the most accurate fit. You'll need ankle circumference, calf circumference, and leg length. For thigh-highs, also measure thigh circumference.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for your first pair — it's more forgiving and easier to put on. If a sock feels impossible to pull on, the issue is usually compression level, not size.

Who benefits most from compression socks?

If you spend long hours on your feet or sitting without moving, compression socks actively help prevent blood pooling and leg fatigue throughout the day.

How do I care for compression socks?

Hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cold water. Air dry flat — tumble drying breaks down the elastic fibers and reduces compression over time. Avoid petroleum-based creams or lotions on your legs before putting them on, as these degrade the fabric.

Replace every 3–6 months with daily wear. Once the elastic starts to feel loose, the compression level is no longer effective.

Take the Quiz

Customers praised these 20-30mmHg compression leggings for providing excellent support and relief, with many noting "legs feel so much lighter" and reduced swelling. The fit is generally true to size with good quality fabric. However, some found them difficult to put on, too thick for summer, and too long for shorter individuals. The footless design allows sandal wear, though some wished for more opacity to wear as standalone leggings.

These are working great, so far! The original product odor washed off in mild detergent and hasn't returned. The ankle band has little to no give, so while it does not make any Mark's on my ankles, it is a challenge to get it over my heel to remove. I have 2 pair of Supacore from Australia and I like that your product allows my slacks or skirt to glide over it and not grab like the thicker sweater textured ones they sell at $144ea.

These leggings are just what I was looking for. I can wear my cute sandals while continuing to wear my support stockings.
The only thing that would make these better would be to have a pair that can be worn with just a large t-shirt. These have a definite line that appear more like pantyhose.

After washing one time they didn’t fit the same.

Very nice fit and comfortable!

Not what I was expecting. Thought the compression would become less as you went up the leggings, not stay the same. Makes it very hard to get all the way up. Does feel good on calves and knees.

The waist is too low for me and restricts my stomach.

Dont like it wish i could return it. Rides down on my less affected side. At the end of the day my feet are swollen due to the legging/no feet option. Open toe would have been better for that.

Too thick for summer wear. They’re like bullet proof polyester from the 70s. Wish there were more colors if it was a thinner knit. I’ll keep looking.

These are the best compression hose. I truly appreciate the compression behind my knee. Varicose veins like to hide there. My legs feel so much lighter.

I consider these footless stock. They are completely see through and have a deportation started at theupper thigh level. It does have good compression for a stocking. I would never wear these as a legging.

I’m very happy with these leggings. They have two pockets, which is convenient.

My body measurements had me at a size 2X so I bought a 3X for some wiggle room and I cannot even get them on over my calves. I was expecting more legging type pants but they look like panty hose and I could not wear them under clothing. I haven’t had time to see if I’m eligible for a refund but I literally cannot get them on

Good Footless Compression

I just received this pair of compression and was pleased overall. I am 5ft 3in and the length worked out well which I was concerned with. I’ve tried other footless compression that are too long it bunches up and feels uncomfortable. The compression feels good, but the 20-30 compression I normally wear feels more snug. I would love if they made an extra small size, as I believe it would give me the best fit. I am 110lbs for reference.

I ordered this at the

I ordered this at the advice of my doctor. I took them off and tried knee socks for support. My legs were hurting so bad. Each leg felt it weighed 500 pounds. I could hardly walk. I put these on and within minutes the pain and heaviness was gone. I have multiple pairs and wear there 24/7.

Why are all compression hose

Why are all compression hose too long? I am tall but yet every pair of pantyhose or legging style compression pantyhose style are 4 ti 6 inches too long!?!?! I am 5 ft 8 and I have this issue. They fit everywhere else if the length could be right these would be so much better. When they are too long, they bunch and where they bunch cuts off circulation. I didn't make it half a day and I was so tired of pulling up leggings. Would love to buy a size up to stop them from sliding down but they are already too long, a larger size would be even longer.

I needed this product after

I needed this product after a vein ablation procedure. It is medical grade compression. It stays in place and fits true to size. As a woman, I could wear a dress over them and they look like tights. They also work well under jeans.

Finally! A pair of compression

Finally! A pair of compression hose that actually fits my 5 foot 10, 185 pound body and offers enough compression! Every time I went up in size the compression I started to disappear and every time I tried to downsize, I couldn’t get them up to where I didn’t feel like I was walking around like Dick Clark in Mary Poppins with the penguin pants. I got a size extra large and they’re perfect.
