What do the mmHg numbers mean?

mmHg (millimeters of mercury) measures how much pressure the sock applies to your leg. Higher number = stronger compression. Choose based on your need, not personal preference — the wrong level can be ineffective or uncomfortable.

MILD 8-15 mmHg Travel, tired legs, everyday wear
MODERATE 15-20 mmHg Mild swelling, varicose veins, athletes
FIRM 20-30 mmHg DVT prevention, post-surgery, edema
EXTRA FIRM 30-40 mmHg Prescribed only — doctor supervision required
What is graduated compression and why does it matter?

Graduated compression means the pressure is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases up the leg. This is the clinically recommended design — it mimics the natural pumping action of your veins and actively pushes blood upward toward the heart.

Non-graduated (uniform) socks provide less therapeutic benefit. When shopping, look for "graduated compression" on the label to make sure you're getting effective support.

How to wear
Which length should I choose?
KNEE-HIGH
  • Most popular choice
  • Covers the calf muscle
  • Great for daily support & travel
THIGH-HIGH
  • Extended upper leg coverage
  • For circulation above the knee
  • Often prescribed post-surgery
PANTYHOSE / LEGGINGS
  • Full leg + waist support
  • Ideal for pregnancy
  • All-day wear coverage
FOOTLESS
  • Better breathability
  • Allows toe inspection
  • Wear with open-toe shoes
How do I measure myself correctly?

Measure in the morning, before swelling sets in — this ensures the most accurate fit. You'll need ankle circumference, calf circumference, and leg length. For thigh-highs, also measure thigh circumference.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for your first pair — it's more forgiving and easier to put on. If a sock feels impossible to pull on, the issue is usually compression level, not size.

Who benefits most from compression socks?

If you spend long hours on your feet or sitting without moving, compression socks actively help prevent blood pooling and leg fatigue throughout the day.

How do I care for compression socks?

Hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cold water. Air dry flat — tumble drying breaks down the elastic fibers and reduces compression over time. Avoid petroleum-based creams or lotions on your legs before putting them on, as these degrade the fabric.

Replace every 3–6 months with daily wear. Once the elastic starts to feel loose, the compression level is no longer effective.

These are NOT completely opaque!

These are NOT completely opaque! I wanted leggings that I could wear by themselves that could provide the circulation support I need in my 3rd trimester. These provide support, but I cannot wear these by themselves without layering other pants or a dress over them. I live in a tropical climate, so I will not be layering these. Definitely going to return them!

They were just what I needed im 24 weeks ans there is lots of room left in the belly department which is great and that bit is very stretchy. And the legs fit nice not hard to get on. Have not washed yet.

These are very comfortable. Quality has been great so far. The material does at times itch my growing stretchy belly. Lotion goes through it.

Helps my varicose and spider veins.
I'd purchase more for sure.

Neg- they are see through.

I ordered several kinds of

I ordered several kinds of compression tights and none of them have worked as well or been more comfortable as these for me. There are a few issues though. They very long for someone who is 5’3 however I make them work. I just have the ankle part sit on the arch of my foot instead and I actually like it better in that it keeps the compression throughout my ankles. I find after wearing them all day for 1-2 days they definitely get loose. I’m considering purchasing my next pair a size down to see if that helps. Overall though I will continue to get these while being pregnant.

Pros:
Been using for the past 4-5 weeks and it's helping a lot with leg pain and varicose veins. Very comfortable.
Cons:
A little see through.
Hard to wear with fitted top or dress because the elastic area doesn't have a smooth finish and it is noticeable through clothing.

These are really tight and

These are really tight and really hard to put on and really hot…but they get the job done for me. I needed something to help reduce the uncomfortable symptoms of my varicose veins. I am a teacher and a coach so I stand up alot throughout the day. Overall, they have exceeded my expectations in that arena! I wish the covering over the stomach wasn’t as thick. There is a thick band at the top of these around the belly that can be sort of itchy on a pregnant already stretchy stomach. I don’t care about it as much since I wear T-shirt’s daily, but if I wanted to wear these under a cute outfit, it would not be flattering. So if you’d like something to help reduce varicose veins, these can work for you. They are sort of sheer, so if you wear them as tights, make sure you wear a long shirt that covers your bottom.

These are so sheer you

These are so sheer you have to wear pants over them. The compression is good, but I was looking for leggings to wear on their own. These are more of sheer tights not leggings

Best compression leggings I have

Best compression leggings I have found so far. 28 weeks, 5’8 and 160 pounds currently and the Medium fit well! I have only had them for the day so I can’t comment on the durability, but my legs feel great relief! My only complaint is they are slightly itchy, hoping with a few more washes that goes away.

Good for the price. Normally

Good for the price. Normally a size 18 so I went with XXL and they do the job nicely. Assisted with most of my varicose veins. I stand all day in a customer service job and these help to prevent my legs from feeling absolutely terrible by the end of my shifts. Does tend to roll down around the knees so adjustments are pretty frequent. I’ve never worn compression leggings before but I hear that that is normal. Comfy for the most part, but I enjoy taking them off at the end of the day the most. Difficult to get on around pregnancy belly, but that’s due to the compression and not the leggings themselves. Would by again. Lasted me through the 2nd and 3nd trimester, no issues.

After wearing them religiously all

After wearing them religiously all day long for a month and half I feel like I can leave an honest review. I put them on first thing when I get up before I even set my feet on the floor to avoid blood rushing to my legs and take them off before I crawl back into bed for the night. They are extremely durable considering what i make these poor compression leggings go through, they even lasted through moving from a 2600 sq ft house to another, somewhere during the process i caught on a nail and made a hole but the hole is not getting bigger even weeks later. However they do pile terribly after about 3 weeks of use, see pictures. To put these on its a real struggle it gives me contractions just doing it but they do their job i didn't get any more nasty veins, so the struggle is worth it. They dont come down much when I walk, I dont constantly pull them up, the little line marks on my thighs is mostly from me trying to put them on in the morning. If i put them on wrong they feel twisted and extremely uncomfortable at the very top of the leg I must redo it, after a few days of trial and error I got the hang of it but still mess up once in a while. The stomach area is very comfortable and probably large enough for twin pregnancy, the band is thick and the side seam ribbing is quiet big so I can't wear tight thin dresses with these but flowy dresses look great with these, any non dressy not super thin shirts are fine too, even the tight ones. Btw i am 5,6 tall and 182lbs I got an XL and they fit perfectly, nice and tight without feeling like I'm choked. Most days my husband helps me take them off because getting it off ankles takes a skill and hard work especially in 3rd trimester. They definitely wont last more than 1 pregnancy I cant even see them last more than 4 month with constant wear and abuse but I do have 3 other children that should make things more clear. They're semi see through, not leggings you can wear without covering at least half your thighs, they're not overly warm but if your weather is more than 75 degrees you'd probably be on the warm side but in that heat any leggings would feel too warm. I only need them for another week or so and I could not be more happier with my purchase i believe they are as durable as they can get for the thickness of material.

I love these! This is

I love these! This is my second purchase of these compression stockings. I wish I could find this exact pair in nude. I bought this second pair because one of my sandals put a snag in my first pair. They are not a hard struggle to get on compared to others I have tried and they start to loosen a little the more you wear them. They are very loose around by pregnant belly. I am 5'6 and I have enough material to pull these down to just below my toes and they still fit my pelvis region without any saggy crotch. If i leave them at my ankles, then my feet swell.

I've tried about 4 different

I've tried about 4 different kinds of maternity leggings.....none have actually helped my painful pregnant legs and increasing varicose veins, that started in my 5th month of pregnancy. I'm typically (pre-pregnancy) about 118 lbs. and 5'4" and so most "maternity compression leggings" have been too loose to do anything. I'm not even sure why those have even been called compression. I'm currently 143 lbs. and the small fits great. They are tight at the ankles (like compressions tights are made to be, and that's why they work) and graduate up near the thighs for good support there (where I personally also have veins and discomfort) and are then roomy and comfortable in the baby bump. Today is the first day in about 6 weeks that I actually feel good and without pain and can stand without feeling worried or anxious about the discomfort and my veins getting worse. At the end of the day my veins are not bulging out of my skin. I wish I found these earlier and I imagine my legs would not have gotten so worse!! Nonetheless, these will help me make it through the next 2 months. Truly saved me. THANK YOU!!!

If you have vein throbbing

If you have vein throbbing in legs due to baby, these should help! I started noticing pain at the beginning of the 2nd trimester. They are cumbersome to put on and off, but 100% worth it. I've gone a day here and there to see if there's a difference and it makes a huge difference for me. You must be diligent about washing according to the website's directions. It makes a difference. You just have to add it the your things to do every day. I am happy I have these! Also, my doctor wasn't concerned they didn't cover my feet unless my feet start swelling.

2nd trimester, 5'6 178lbs. Ordered

2nd trimester, 5'6 178lbs. Ordered XL- black. They seem to work and do the job of keeping my miserable pregnancy veins from bulging out like elephant ears and dragging on the floor behind me. They are between stocking material and leggings. You can't just walk out of the house in these and a tee-shirt, they're too see through up on the thigh/butt. Overall, I'm glad I purchased these. Also, the stomach part has lots of room to grow AND guess what? If you flip to the inside of the waist band and find an opening, you'll find you can reach the elastic... and on that elastic piece are ADJUSTABLE BUTTONS! Who knew?? You can make it looser or tighter! ha! Anyway, enjoy.

If you're ordering these you're probably miserable too. These will decrease your misery by half.

Wonderful support and keep my

Wonderful support and keep my legs from aching from varicose veins. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and they fit great and I feel like my stomach has plenty of room to grow without feeling constricted. I definitely plan to buy a few more pairs! They are hot, but so are every other pair of compression hose/stockings I have bought, so I guess that comes with the territory.

I don't know if any

I don't know if any type of compression garment is "comfortable," but these are really not bad at all for every day wear. They look about a million times cuter than anything else I've seen at this compression level! I love that my feet can breathe and I can wear sandals in the heat. They really aren't too hot in the summer heat... not that I'm going out in the heat too much. They are fairly sturdy, although I'm very careful not to snag them. They may look like capris when you pull them out of the box, but they stretch a LOT. Don't be fooled by the people who posted pictures of them looking like capris without trying them on. They will fit. I'm 5'4" and almost 138 lbs at 28 weeks pregnant, and the medium fits great - the legs go all the way to my ankles. The band around the belly is pretty comfy and stays up, and I have a huuuuge belly. Yes, you do need to wear something over the butt, as they aren't opaque leggings. Overall, I want another pair!

Also, I hand-washed them and let them air dry overnight... they were still a little damp the next morning, so I put them in the dryer for 20-30 min on "air only" (no heat). And they came out perfect.

These have worked well so

These have worked well so far for me through my pregnancy. They are thinner so they are lighter weight, which is nice when wearing them under maternity pants/jeans so you dont get too hot. However, I have noticed some of the material starting to stretch apart around the upper thigh so I'm not sure how long they will truly last. Soft material. The band around the belly started off nice and flat but now has rolled up and wont go back, which is not terribly uncomfortable but could be better. Overall, I'd get another pair.
