What do the mmHg numbers mean?

mmHg (millimeters of mercury) measures how much pressure the sock applies to your leg. Higher number = stronger compression. Choose based on your need, not personal preference — the wrong level can be ineffective or uncomfortable.

MILD 8-15 mmHg Travel, tired legs, everyday wear
MODERATE 15-20 mmHg Mild swelling, varicose veins, athletes
FIRM 20-30 mmHg DVT prevention, post-surgery, edema
EXTRA FIRM 30-40 mmHg Prescribed only — doctor supervision required
What is graduated compression and why does it matter?

Graduated compression means the pressure is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases up the leg. This is the clinically recommended design — it mimics the natural pumping action of your veins and actively pushes blood upward toward the heart.

Non-graduated (uniform) socks provide less therapeutic benefit. When shopping, look for "graduated compression" on the label to make sure you're getting effective support.

How to wear
Which length should I choose?
KNEE-HIGH
  • Most popular choice
  • Covers the calf muscle
  • Great for daily support & travel
THIGH-HIGH
  • Extended upper leg coverage
  • For circulation above the knee
  • Often prescribed post-surgery
PANTYHOSE / LEGGINGS
  • Full leg + waist support
  • Ideal for pregnancy
  • All-day wear coverage
FOOTLESS
  • Better breathability
  • Allows toe inspection
  • Wear with open-toe shoes
How do I measure myself correctly?

Measure in the morning, before swelling sets in — this ensures the most accurate fit. You'll need ankle circumference, calf circumference, and leg length. For thigh-highs, also measure thigh circumference.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for your first pair — it's more forgiving and easier to put on. If a sock feels impossible to pull on, the issue is usually compression level, not size.

Who benefits most from compression socks?

If you spend long hours on your feet or sitting without moving, compression socks actively help prevent blood pooling and leg fatigue throughout the day.

How do I care for compression socks?

Hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cold water. Air dry flat — tumble drying breaks down the elastic fibers and reduces compression over time. Avoid petroleum-based creams or lotions on your legs before putting them on, as these degrade the fabric.

Replace every 3–6 months with daily wear. Once the elastic starts to feel loose, the compression level is no longer effective.

Take the Quiz

Customers praised these 20-30mmHg compression sleeves for reducing leg swelling, pain, and fatigue, with many noting they "provide just enough support" and help with varicose veins and post-surgery recovery. The grippy top band generally stays in place. However, some reported the silicone band rolls down, especially when pulled up fully. Sizing runs small—many recommend ordering 1-2 sizes larger.

I just got these today

I just got these today 10/11/25. I have lymphedema. I’ve been looking for a compression sleeve that would fit around my thigh. I’m 5’7” and 355 lbs. I got a 5X. Why are any compression garment so hard to get on? That was a workout! LOL! I love that it fits around my thigh. What I don’t like is the silicone none slip part….immediately rolls down once I pulled the sleeve up. So that part is uncomfortable. Luckily I won’t wear them for long periods of time when I wear them. I don’t think downsizing the sleeve would keep it from rolling. Perhaps downsizing my thighs will. LOL! Other than that, I would recommend these.

I really like these leg

I really like these leg sleeves. I got a bigger size than normal and they fit perfect. I am 3 months post knee surgery and developed nerve and muscle pain in my whole leg. The sleeves provide just enough support around my legs so I can walk without my cane. I recommend them.

They have a rolling effect.

They have a rolling effect. I do live the color and the feel. They are true to size though they may look small in and out of package, they make up for while stretching them on. It does take some work on your part. I and my spouse were out of breath. Lol :joy: But I think they will be worth it.

I bought these compression socks

I bought these compression socks because I spend many hours on my feet, and I needed something to help with circulation and leg fatigue. From the very first use, I noticed the difference the compression is firm but comfortable, not too tight, and I can wear them all day without discomfort. The material feels high quality, breathable, and durable. Even after several washes, they still look and feel like new.
What I love most is how they really reduce swelling and that heavy feeling in my legs. The design is also simple and discreet, so they work well for both work and exercise.
Overall, a great purchase if you’re looking for comfort and extra support for your legs. Highly recommended!

spend long hours sitting at work and often wear heels, which used to leave my legs feeling sore and heavy by the end of the day. Since I started wearing the Mojo compression socks, I’ve noticed a big difference! They’re much easier to put on than I expected, very comfortable, and they really help reduce the pain and discomfort in my legs. I feel supported throughout the day, and I’m so glad I gave them a try. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with tired or achy legs!

I like this it doesn't

I like this it doesn't roll down as much as other brands. It depends on how high up the leg you have it. If it's too low it will roll down. It helps with hypermobility for sure

I got these for my

I got these for my knee replacement. Ordered the 5X, I'm 5'4", 215lbs, but with a swollen leg and they fit just as I hoped. Not a death grip, but firm and just a smidgen too long so a let the bottom stay around my foot like a partial sock. I originally ordered a 4X and that was a death grip, couldn't wear those. And just a note, the fabric is different between the black/pink and beige. The beige is more panty hose like, but nice and sturdy. I like them better than the black.

These compression sleeves (20-30 mmHg)

These compression sleeves (20-30 mmHg) were a lifesaver after my surgery. They provided the perfect amount of support and made such a difference in my recovery. The fit is snug but comfortable, and they stay in place without sliding down. I could immediately feel the relief and better circulation. I’m so glad I got these—highly recommend to anyone who needs solid post-surgery support.
